Short Profile
Dr. Vincenzo Pallotta, is an experienced professional in ICT and Consumer Electronics. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from EPFL and after more than 25 years of research and development in private and public institutions such as IBM, Apple, EPFL, Stanford University, ICSI, UC Berkeley, he is now Professor of Innovation Management and Product Development at the Swiss Applied Science University of Canton Vaud (HEIG-VD) and Expert at InnoSuisse (Swiss federal agency for support of innovation) . He is the co-founder of interAnalytics, a startup active in the area of Semantic Technologies for Big Data and Customer Interaction Analytics. He contributes as a Lean Startup coach, mentor and trainer to initiatives such as Startup Weekend, UP-NEXT, SeedStars World, Lean Startup Machine and Stanford’s Technology Entrepreneurship online MOOC. He is also active in the civil society as a founding member and former chairman of the Switzerland chapter of the Internet Society and the ThinkServices think tank.
