Short Profile
George-Christopher Vosniakos studied Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and obtained an MSc and a PhD from UMIST-Britainin Advanced Manufacturing Technology in 1991. He has worked in the CADCAM industry in Germany and as a Lecturer at UMIST. In 1999 he joined NTUA, where he is currently Professor of Manufacturing Systems and director of the Manufacturing Technology Laboratory. He has authored106 Journal papers and over 100Conferencepapers obtaining 2497 Scopus citations. He is member of the editorial board of 6 major International Journals. His recent research interests include AI and VR in Manufacturing.
