Short Profile
Dr. Kar is basically a field engineer from Water Resources Department of Government of Odisha where he has worked for 25 years in may capacities. Later on during December 2016 he has shifted to teaching and in course of time joined at VSSUT, Burla and teaching different subjects in graduation and post graduation levels. He has completed his M.Tech and Ph.D from Dept. of Hydrology IIT, Roorkee. His specialization is basically around the core hydrology sectors like water availability studies, flood modeling, low flow analysis, stochastic hydrology and application of soft computing, remote sensing and gis. He has number of research publications in reputed journals like ASCE, Elsevier, Inderscience and Scientific Research Publishing.
